Serving the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, Dr. Jeffery Dormu is a double Board Certified Surgeon and is triple Fellowship trained in Vascular/Endovascular Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and General Surgery. His medical training also consists of a Carotid Stenting Certification.
Currently, he is the Managing Director of The Minimally Invasive Vascular Centers, located in Laurel, Maryland. As a native of Washington, DC, he is committed to serving his community and is determined to help stop the rampant vascular devastation that is plaguing the metropolitan area. Experience & Background
He has performed over 1,600 surgeries in the past year. These surgeries include Aortic and Peripheral Aneurysm Repairs, Aortograms, Arteriograms, Arterial and Vein Bypass Surgeries, Endarterectomies, Angioplasty/Stenting, Thrombolysis, Varicose Vein treatment and more.
Dr. Dormu remains active in local and international organizations. He is the President of a youth development organization called Motivate Me For Life, as well as Co-Founder of the Horizon Medical Mission, an international medical mission focused on providing medical treatment and surgeries, at no cost, to those in need. Through this organization, he helped to make available over $70,000 of life-saving heart surgery to a 10-year-old Nigerian boy.
In addition, he is a member of The Board of Advisors for the Disabled Children’s Relief Fund (DCNF), The American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the Admissions Committee for the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine, Positive Black Men, Inc. (PBM), Community Financial Network, Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society and a recipient of the Strathmore Who’s Who Award.

Wendy Muhammad currently serves as the President and Director of Business Affairs and Development for the Minimally Invasive Vascular Centers. She is an Effective Leader with exemplary management, organizational and strategic thinking skills and a proven record of accomplishments in initiating and managing change, project management, process improvements, thought leadership, contract negotiations, financial reporting, auditing, and internal control analysis and a demonstrated ability to implement decisions and achieve corporate goals. She began her career with Price Waterhouse Coopers and has worked as an Independent Business Consultant and Project Leader that has trained thousands of entrepreneurs and managed over $260 million in Projects.
